Classes for ACLS, PALS and BLS are provided to our clinical staff.
ETP – Grant
The hospital was awarded a Grant trough the State of California for the training of our Nurses. Each individual will be selected to participate in our educational program through the ETP Plan. You will be able to get classes to improve your skills and/or be able to move up the working ladder. Some of the courses will help you transfer to different nursing specialties.
Stand and Deliver Program
We also have partnership with the City of Los Angeles WIB, The Community Development Department, The Los Angeles Youth Opportunity Movement, The City of Los Angeles Healthcare Career Ladder Training Program, and we are offering an “Out-of-School to Healthcare Careers” to the youth within our community.
The Goal of this program is as follows:
- Design and Launch One-On-One and On-Line Mentoring Program
- Recruit and Train Health care professionals in various occupations
- Increase the available skilled labor pool
- Attracting diverse populations to the high wage, high growth industries, beginning with Healthcare.
LVN Program
In conjunction with the City of Los Angeles and Work Source of California, we are now offering a new Training Program for Licensed Vocational Nurses at no cost to the individuals. The program takes 12 months for completion.
Minimum Requirements:
- No Criminal Background
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a 10th Grade Reading and 9th Grade Math entrance examination, Nurse Entrance Test
- Entrance Interview
